With a long family history that goes back many generations in this area it pains me to see the impact that government neglect is having on our area. The two major parties are simply not up to the job anymore. I can no longer sit back and watch this happen and have decided to run for the state seat of Cairns.

It is time we had a voice in parliament again, not puppets of faceless party machines from Canberra. By posting media releases on this blog the people of Cairns can determine if we have policies and concepts that they agree with.

I ask you to join me in ensuring that Cairns and Far North Queensland gets a fair go.

ALP DESPERATE FOR POLICY BUT WE'RE HAPPY TO HELP

Seems the Premier is out of ideas and need to steal policy from Katters Australian Party. At the press conference announcing FNQ candidates in Cairns on 18th September 2011 it was well reported that Bob Katter laid out our plan to address insurance issues and to name and shame insurers not doing the right thing by victims of the natural disasters. Today we see the Premier has announced just what Bob said. See link below.

At the end of the day we don't care who brings it in, as long as it happens. If the premier needs some help with other policy ideas for health, law and order etc they can feel free to give the office a call.
