If the proposed marine park is supposed to be about protecting the reef, why does this government allow 200 tonnes of coral to be harvested from the reef each year? How many more 100's of tonnes are killed in the process of harvesting?
All so someone can have a nice piece of coral in their Beverly Hills mansion fish tank while they get their personal assistant to send us a message to tell us we should make the Coral Sea a Marine Park.
